This album spans the time between living in NYC and in Greensboro. I am always playing music with new and old friends and sometimes I record it. These are a bunch of recordings with various great musicians (many of them less sung than they should be, but aren't we all) who have inspired me over the past two years. Perhaps not duets in the sense of, say, "Islands in the Stream," they are partnerships of musical aesthetic, some completely improvised, some improvised around themes, and some just plain old songs.
