about

Mark Tulk is a great songwriter and musician who I met because his wife, Niki Tulk, a director, writer and musician, met Cassandra at an improvisation workshop. Niki ended up directing part of our company's interpretation of Gertrude Stein's Tender Buttons. I wanted to work with Mark because I really liked his ears and his keyboard playing, so we got together and I had just written this song for the section of Tender Buttons I was directing and so we played that together. He taped it, but we never got a chance to work on further songs. Maybe someday soon! I ended up doing an "official" version with my band Fist of Kindness. fistofkindness.bandcamp.com/album/electric-objects He is a great mastering engineer too, so I've been having him master my releases... smallhousecreative.com
