This one depicts the inner stream of consciousness of a guy who’s homeless who climbs into the backyard of his ex-girlfriend one cold wet night and just looks up at the window. It’s the first track on the first Fist of Kindness album, The Dead and the Powerless. It was a time when I was really on bottom. I had more or less given up on everything and had no substitute plan. I didn't actually ever do this but I could totally imagine going there, in sadness, in the rain, just to remember.
